Kimberly grew up the daughter of a custom home builder and a professional musician. As a child, Kimberly spent many hours with her father looking at floor plans, walking through unfinished homes, and attending Parade of Home tours with her family. She loved seeing a house transform from a two-dimensional floor plan to a complete new home, and then finally seeing each family make it their own. A fourth-grade architecture project further cemented her love for home architecture and photography.
Kimberly obtained a degree in Management and Marketing from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, then worked as a credit analyst for BankBoston and a relationship manager for Wells Fargo before taking 20 years off to raise her family. She and Mark, her husband of 26 years, share four daughters, all of whom were teenagers earlier this year. They have homeschooled and homesteaded both in Hendersonville and now in Saluda for the last 16 years.
Kimberly enjoys helping clients explore the beauty and splendor of Henderson and Polk Counties and finding the perfect home from which to experience it. Whether you are looking for a home in the area, or you are interested in selling your current home, Kimberly can help you with this transition. Her attention to detail, years of problem-solving experience, and background in marketing and finance will help guide you through the entire process of buying or selling your home.
Kimberly is very active in her church in Tryon where she leads the youth ministry. When she’s not working, you’ll find her taking her kids to music lessons and bluegrass jams. She enjoys hiking, biking, boating, traveling, thrift shopping, and looking at houses. Most mornings you can find her walking the streets of Saluda with her Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix dog, Captain, who, if he had an Instagram page, would definitely be the most popular one in the family.
