A real estate transaction is a deeply personal and significant decision that can be complex and sometimes a little overwhelming. As your full-time professional real estate agent, Shana’s job is to compassionately and confidently help you navigate through such an important and exciting time in your life. Shana is a multi-generational native of Transylvania County. Her roots for these beautiful mountains run deep—and her love for the people that belong to them runs even deeper! She genuinely cares for every one of her clients, and it truly brings her so much joy to help people find “HOME.”
With a degree in Landscape Architecture from Clemson University, Shana has learned to understand and appreciate the importance of the spaces in which we live, work, and play, as well as how they affect our quality of life. She brings a unique design skill set to the table and loves to help her clients visualize and bring their ideal spaces to life. Shana believes that “home” can and should be a place that you long for and love to be at.
Most recently, Shana founded, owned, and operated for eight years a successful floral design studio, which specializes in weddings and events in western North Carolina. She genuinely loves meeting people from all walks of life and hearing their stories. She knows well how to work under pressure, on strict timelines, and how to adapt seamlessly when a curveball is thrown her way. Owning a small business taught her that no matter what, you show up, work hard, communicate well, be honest, act with compassion, kindness, and integrity and that people always, always come first. To succeed in life is to stretch out your hand and help others succeed.
There is so much sweetness to a life lived in the mountains of WNC—indeed, it is one of the most unique places on earth and Shana’s favorite place to be! In her free time, Shana enjoys exploring these mountains and all they offer with her husband and their five amazing kiddos. Whether it be a new trail, a local band, ice cream in the national forest, taking in the fall leaves, or a downtown festival, there is always something to discover!
A few of her favorite things in life include all things springtime (especially hearing those spring peepers), baseball, a good bluegrass festival, gardening, a summer rainstorm on the front porch, s’mores by the campfire, Tiger football, the month of September, and the silence of peaceful mountain snowfall. Of course, she believes that flowers make life a little sweeter!
Whether you are buying or selling a home or are assisting a friend or relative to navigate the market and learn the area, feel free to reach out. Shana would love to hear your story and chat about your real estate goals!
